Additionally, we have the latest in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Global-Positioning System (GPS) technologies. CAD files, either developed in-house or submitted by our design associates, are translated into digital data. Our field engineers use this data to locate reference points on the ground, providing critical information to our equipment operators and laborers. These files can also be converted to 3D models. The 3D models, in collaboration with our GPS-integrated equipment, result in pin-point accuracy, both horizontally and vertically. The CAD files are also used by our estimating department to ensure efficiency and maximum savings for our owners. |
Technology seems to magically transform the way we do things. Construction is no different. Chasco maintains its own computer network. This network includes an array of office desktops and laptops in the field, as well as our own email, accounting, file and remote access servers. By maintaining our own email system, and using mobile broadband enabled laptops and Nextel smartphones, communication is instantaneous and reliable. |
