Employed fifteen years with Turner/Lathrop - General Contractors.
Experienced in all phases of major general contracting.
Employed as Project Engineer, Superintendent, General Superintendent,
and Field Operations Director. Member of The American Concrete
Institute, Construction Specification Institute, American
Society for Concrete Construction. Board member of Austin
Chapter Associated General Contractors. Started Chasco Constructors
in 1979.
Temple Aday - President
BSBC - Texas A&M University, 1983
Extensive curriculum study in building construction, architectural
engineering, design, and business management. Twenty-one
years diverse background in commercial, heavy/highway and
multi-family residential construction. Employed with Chasco
Constructors as Superintendent, Estimator, Field Operations
Director, Project Manager, and currently serving as President.
Member of American Society for Concrete Construction. Joined
Chasco Constructors in 1983.
Chuck Glace - Executive Vice President
Central Michigan University - U.T. Austin, 1987
Employed as Field Foreman and Supervisor on many projects
before advancing to Manager of Field Operations. Diversified
construction background with emphasis on concrete construction.
Eighteen years experience in construction of bridge class
culverts, pre-stressed bridge structures, concrete paving,
and structural concrete buildings. Field management experience
in all phases of heavy/highway and heavy commercial work.
In depth knowledge of all phases of project management including
pay estimates, field orders, and all items related to managing
construction. Experience in projects with demanding schedules
and special safety requirements. Extensive field background
on projects with high tolerance requirements under difficult
environmental conditions.
Susan A. Merriman - Secretary/Treasurer
BBA Accounting - Texas A & M University, 1983
Twenty years experience in construction administration and
accounting, including five years in heavy/highway as Treasurer
of R. T. Montgomery, Inc, two years in commercial building
and real estate development as Senior Accountant for Bob
Clark Builders of Texas, and three years in heavy/highway
as Controller for Staker Paving of Texas. Successfully completed
C.P.A. examination in Texas. Founding member and past president
of Central Texas Chapter of Construction Financial Management
Association. Joined Chasco Constructors in January 1991.
David Schroeder, P.E. - Estimating Manager
BSCE Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, 1972
Thirty-four years experience in heavy/highway construction.
Three years experience in highway field inspection. Nine
years with Holloway Construction Co. on large earth and
concrete dams and power plants. Five years with J. D. Abrams,
Inc. in project management, job costing and estimating heavy/highway
projects. Six years with Interstate Contracting Corporation
as Engineering/Operations Manager covering complete operations
of heavy/highway bridge contractor. Licensed Professional
Engineer in Texas and Wisconsin. Joined Chasco Constructors
in April 1995.
Russell Hirsch - Estimator
BS - Texas A&M University, 1994
Over Ten years estimating experience on jobs that contain dirt work, concrete,
asphalt, underground, and structures, ranging from $3 to
$115 million dollars. Interned five summers with TX DOT
working with the Design Division and District 14. Previously
employed with Balfour Beatty Construction. Joined Chasco
Constructors in November 1996.
Scott Badgett – Construction Manager
BS in civil engineering – University of Texas - Austin,
1978
Over Thirty years of solid construction management experience
in commercial, institutional and industrial projects. Diverse
background including renovation and construction of healthcare
facilities, churches, schools, office buildings, manufacturing
and retail facilities. Key responsibilities include coordination
and management of the entire construction process from estimating
and pre-construction through close-out. Scott joined Chasco
Constructors in August 2001.
Marcus Edwards – Estimator
BS in Construction Science – Texas A&M University,
Dec 2000
Marcus has been in the commercial and residential construction
industries for over Ten years. His experience includes new
construction and retrofit of residential custom homes, law
enforcement buildings, public and private office buildings,
retail strips and public educational facilities. Marcus
has been a journeyman electrician, an electrical estimator
and project manager, and a residential and commercial superintendent.
After graduating from Texas A&M, Marcus worked for DalMac
Construction as a project engineer & project manager
on a $47 million public high school project. Marcus currently
works for Chasco as an estimator and brings with him a practical
knowledge all types of construction.
Adam Klingemann – Estimator
Adam has over Ten years construction experience including
new construction, residential, civil site-work & retrofit
of religious facilities, office buildings, and warehouses.
As an estimator, Adam also has experience in the construction
of roads, earthen berms, and major sedimentation / filtration
ponds.
Ravi Menon – Project Manager
B-Tech 1978, MSCE 1979 (Univ. of Iowa), MSCM 1981 (Univ.
of Missouri)
Ravi has over Twenty years experience in the construction
industry. Project Manager of commercial, institutional and
government projects ranging from $1 million to $22.5 million.
Involved in all aspects of construction including estimating.
Projects include $22.5 million St. David’s Hospital
East Campus Project, which consisted of two 4-story hospitals,
one 5-story medical office building and one 4-level underground
parking garage. He has worked with general contracting firms
in Austin since November 1984. Ravi joined Chasco Constructors
in December 1998.
Bill Bambrick – Project Manager
Drake Univ., 1976 - University of Houston, 1977
Twenty-five years experience in commercial contracting,
performing engineering and layout and serving as Superintendent
over major concrete structures, tilt-wall buildings, structural
concrete buildings, box culverts, retaining walls, and utilities.
Joined Chasco Constructors in 1985.
Kellin Neiman – Project Manager
Tarleton State University
More than Fifteen years of construction experience ranging from
“Class A” office buildings to site improvements
for TXDOT Aviation. Has field experience as project Superintendent
in both commercial and the custom home building industry.
Kellin joined Chasco in 1997.
Jim Freeman – Project Manager
BS in structural engineering, University of Texas
- Austin
Over Twenty years experience in constructing major office
buildings, churches, healthcare facilities and industrial
buildings. Has managed highway, road and bridge projects
and has an in depth knowledge of concrete and field engineering.
Began as Field Engineer, worked as a Carpenter and Equipment
Operator, advancing to Superintendent and Project Manager/Estimator.
Jim joined Chasco Constructors in August 2001.

Tony Glace - Vice President
BSBC Texas A&M University, 1990
Building Construction-Architectural Engineering Major.
Tony has over twenty years of construction experience with
Chasco Constructors. As a field foreman and Superintendent,
Tony has extensive experience in all areas of construction
including heavy/highway and commercial/industrial buildings.
He has constructed bridges and box culverts, multi-story
concrete buildings, concrete walls up to 35 feet in height,
tilt wall, and all phases of site work. Chasco relies on
Tony’s ability to manage our most complex and time
restricted projects.
Buddy Harris – Sr. Project Superintendent
Over thirty years experience in residential and heavy commercial
construction. Experience ranges from equipment operator
to co-owner/partner of Austin based commercial construction
company. Knowledgeable in all phases of commercial construction
with emphasis on safety, quality and time management. Buddy
directly supervises all job-site personnel, equipment and
materials. Joined Chasco Constructors in September 1991.
Dave Widmer – Project Superintendent
Dave has over fourteen years construction experience including
new construction and renovation & retrofit of manufacturing
facilities, office buildings, warehouses, structural and
civil concrete. As a superintendent, Dave also has experience
in the construction of roads, bridges, and major sedimentation
/ filtration ponds.
James Hampton - Project Superintendent
Twenty-five years experience in heavy equipment, site, and
utility construction, including 12 years as Site Superintendent
and Field Coordinator. Additional experience in all phases
of civil construction, including street and drainage. Licensed
and certified to install/remove underground storage tanks.
Joined Chasco Constructors in 1986 as Superintendent for
site development projects.
Dave Esper – Project Superintentendent
Dave has over 17 years of construction experience with Chasco
Constructors. As a field foreman and Superintendent, Dave
has extensive experience in structural concrete and civil
concrete. He has constructed bridges and box culverts, major
sedimentation and filtration ponds, cast in place concrete
walls over 30 feet in height as well as concrete tilt walls
for commercial buildings.
Johnny Murrell – Utilities Superintendent
With over 35 years of construction experience, Johnny is
an expert at constructing water and waste water systems
and all other types of underground utilities. Installation
of public and private water distribution systems, sanitary
sewer mains, lift stations, and storm sewer systems are
all part of Johnny’s expertise. |
