The Round Rock YMCA Natatorium project included modifications to portions of the existing YMCA building as well as the construction of a new natatorium. The existing building had to be cut and selectively demolished with a drive lane being constructed to providing connectivity between the existing east and west parking lots through what once was a portion of the existing building. The project was made even more challenging because it abutted and tied into occupied space that was still actively in use throughout the entire period of construction. It was imperative that ongoing programming not be disturbed. This was successfully achieved through careful scheduling and close coordination with YMCA staff. |
