The Rollingwood Towne Centre Entry project was not a large project, but did pose several small obstacles and required careful planning. Located just west of MOPAC on Bee Caves Road, access to the project was subject to constant high volumes of downtown traffic. Besides constructing a direct tie-in to the existing busy roadway, the entry was required to immediately traverse a local stream thus leading to the need for an 80' concrete and structural steel bridge. The remainder of the site was composed of several hundred feet of structural rock retaining walls, heavy rock excavation, and several tie-ins to existing business parking areas. |
