Old Settler's Park is a multi-use sports and recreational park located just north of the Dell Diamond baseball facility located in Round Rock, Texas. Chasco Constructors was chosen as the site, utility, and concrete contractor for several phases of work including the new baseball and girls' softball facilities, extension of the lakeside trail, and the new northwest bridge to cross the creek that feeds into the north portion of the lake. Included in the ball field construction were 4 new parking lots, layout and mow strip for the ball field fences, several new underground water lines, concrete drainage structures, and a new regional water detention pond. The lakeside trail extension included over 2,500 feet of concrete sidewalk on the east and west sides of the lake that tied into a new 100 foot span steel bridge. |
