The Dell Diamond Stadium Expansion,
home of the triple-A Round Rock
Express baseball team, was a CM at
Risk project with maximum exposure.
The project included adding six (6)
luxury suites, a 750 seat Homerun
Porch that cantilevered over the top
of the existing clubhouse and a
pedestrian bridge connecting the
new structures. Time being of the
essence, the improvements could
only be started after the last pitch
of the 2003 season and had to be
completed before the first pitch of
the 2004 season. Chasco's unique
ability to self-perform all of the
concrete work allowed us to
surgically demolish the existing
concrete to expose the foundation
and make a seamless transition from
existing to new. This high profile
project was completed ahead of
schedule and within budget.
